I called Simon and Schuster customer service for update on these titles above. No change which is a good news! :o) I asked to see how I can obtain seasonal catalog that was on SimonSays.com but the seasonal catalog I wanted is Pocket Books Hardcover which will feature V.C. Andrews' books in hardcover with good synopsis and hardcover book graphic! That particular catalogs along with other seasonal catalogs are reserved for retails, distributors/jobbers, and libraries. I called my local library (Mesquite Public Library North Branch at http://www.library.mesquite.tx.us to see if they have an account to Simon & Schuster, Inc. Unfortunately, they don't but they told me that independent or individual bookseller would have an account with Simon & Schuster, Inc. so they would probably have the catalogs I wanted to look at. Will let you know if I find it. I plan to copy and post these upcoming books' synopses.
About a month to go until we'll get our hands on the copy of Lightning Strikes!

Today, I called the customer service to see any change to the info. Indeed, there are some changes. Simon & Schuster now gives out release date along with publication date.
Lightning Strikes will be out June 2000, just in time for the summer time reading!
Eye of the Storm seem to be MIA in their system except for hardcover. The release date for hardcover is October 2000. So I can assume that paperback will be out at the same time. But it can be subject to change. Don't hold your breath on this title because it can change too.
End of the Rainbow was pulled back for February 2001 publication which means for January 2001 release!! It will be my perfect early birthday present! :-)
Orphans has the publication date as of August 2000. The release date is July 2000. It will be out after Lightning Strikes.

Here are the latest info about Hudson series.
There were confusion about second novel's title. It was previously entitled as Shower of Tears. Due to publishers' decision, they changed it to final title, Lightning Strikes. The release date is July 2000. The front cover graphic is out on BooksaMillion.com.
There is apparently no change to the third novel's title, Eye of the Storm which will be out in November 2000.
The fourth novel was untitled until early last month after receiving an e-mail from the official VCA site (SimonSays.com: V.C. Andrews). It was entitled as Rainbow at Twilight. This title was unconfirmed changed to End of the Rainbow, according to the customer service.
There will be a paperback edition that consists the first four Orphans novels: Butterfly, Crystal, Brooke, and Raven all together. The release date is August 2000 after the Lightning Strikes' release.

Indeedly, AN is working on next miniseries but he stressed that this miniseries will be so unlike the previous series The Orphans and The Wildflowers. This new miniseries will probably start after The Hudsons: End of the Rainbow which will be out in March of Y2K1.
AN is already in the middle of another series: a family saga. But there are no further information as of yet.
